- In the case of OBD II generic information Mode 1 (which relates to data parameters), use Autel MK808Z-BT to initiates a request for information from the powertrain control module (PCM), and the PCM responds by sending the information back to the scan tool for display. If it's not responding, you will know that there is problem with PCM. It can also be used to actuate relays, vehicle fuel injectors and coils, perform system tests, etc.
